Depigmenting and Enhancing Peels

Indigo offers PCA skin peels, as well as the Melanage Depigmenting Peel and Obagi Blue Peel to lighten dark pigmentations, including pigmentation known as Melasma. These treatments also stimulate the production of collagen, reduce the appearance of fine lines, and improve tone and texture.

The Miracle Peel for Ageless Skin - Melanage™ Depigmenting Peel

Dark spots and pigmentation, especially on the face, is an aesthetic concern to those suffering from these conditions. Repeated sun exposure, and in some cases, exposure to heat as part of a working environment, result in mottling and brown spots on the skin called dyschromia.

The Melanage Depigmenting Peel is a Hydroquinone/Retinoid peel used for melasma or hyperpigmentation on the face. It is a superficial peel that requires no preparation, and is safe for use on all skin types.

What to Expect During Treatment

This peel/masque is compounded freshly, by a trained esthetician to ensure its potency and efficacy, and is then applied to the face. Clients leave Indigo wearing the masque, after receiving easy-to-follow instructions for removal of the masque and the use of at-home Melanage products.

After the masque is removed some clients experience peeling of the outermost area of the skin. If you do not notice actual peeling, please know that you are still receiving all the benefits of the Melanage Skin Lightening System including the stimulation of collagen production and repair, improved tone and texture, and diminished fine lines.

Obagi Blue Peel

This is a medium depth medical peel which helps treat sun damage, acne scarring, wrinkles, and dull skin. The peel is performed by our own physician. Healthy, younger looking skin will appear anywhere from 7-10 days later. Before this procedure can be performed, the skin must be prepped, with products, six weeks prior to treatment.
