Skin Lesion Management & Surgery - Skin Tag Removal, Mole Removal, Skin Biopsy

Dr. PreFontaine can address any of the following conditions at Indigo MedSpa, with either surgical removal or cryotherapy (freezing) treatment:

• Moles
• Skin Tags
• Warts
• Actinic (Solar) Keratoses (sun damaged skin)
• Cysts

Other non-specific skin lesions can be addressed with a physician consultation.

If warranted, suspicious lesions will be biopsied and sent for laboratory analysis by a dermatopathologist.

Will my insurance cover my treatments?

Skin Lesion Management and Surgery should be covered by most insurances. We will provide you with all of the necessary diagnosis and treatments codes, on an encounter form, for you to submit to your insurance company for direct reimbursement to you. Please present your insurance card, at your initial appointment, so that we may include a copy with the specimens that require biopsy. The laboratory that performs the pathology will directly bill your insurance company.
