How Ionithermie™ Works

Ionithermie™ works to detoxify and slim your body through the use of all natural products along with galvanic and faradic electrical impulses. Using a technique that has been practiced for years, the galvanic impulse works to create an electrical current. The electrical current allows the natural products to reach deep into the dermal layer where it will work to break down fat and toxins. A faradic impulse, which is used by physiotherapists and chiropractors, is then used to create slight contractions in the muscles. The contractions will increase blood flow and tones the muscles.

Ionithermie™ utilizes all-natural products such as micronized algae, thermal clay from the shores of France, and Les Complexes Biotechniques. The clay transmits the electrical impulses into the body while warming the client. Algae and Les Complexes Biotechniques product enter the dermal layer through the electrical impulses, allowing the products to breakdown toxins in the body, and increasing metabolism.

Ionithermie™ and the Effect on the Appearance of Cellulite

Reduction of circulation and retention of fluids are the main causes of cellulite. Toxins can build up in the body's fluids. With the application of an electric pulse, toxins are released from the body, helping circulation. This helps to reduce fluid retention and minimize the appearance of cellulite. Several treatments are required to effectively minimize the appearance of cellulite.

Treatment Process - Ionithermie Treatment

Before Treatment

Before Ionithermie, clients will need to remove the clothing which covers the area to be treated, and will be given a robe and a disposable garment to wear during treatment.

During Treatment

First, the body area between the abdomen and the knees will be covered by products containing natural algae from the shores of France that help to remove toxins. Next, galvanic products are applied to the skin which prepares the skin to absorb the electrical impulses. Lastly warm clay is applied, which acts as a conductor. Several electrodes are applied which tone the area by causing the muscles to contract and tighten. The contractions occur every three seconds and have been described as a vibrating cell phone under the skin. Some people find this to be very relaxing, and the settings can be adjusted depending on the client's level of comfort. The electrodes will stay on the client for 30 minutes. The natural products on the skin improve the skin's elasticity and smoothness, which also helps to reduce the appearance of cellulite.

After Treatment

After the treatment, the client may feel as though they've had a workout, and may have sore muscles the next day. Immediate inch loss is often experienced and measurements are taken both before and after treatment to see how many inches were lost. The Ionithermie treatments temporarily increase the person's metabolism for up to 48 hours after treatment, and some clients have reported that some of their joint pain has been relieved by the treatment.

Treatment Schedule

Treatments can be performed 48 hours apart, and a series of 3, 6, 10 or more treatments are recommended depending on the client's specific goals The more treatments received, the more likely one will reap the slimming benefits, as well as help reduce appearance of cellulite. If cellulite reduction is the goal of treatment, a series of treatments will be needed. Results are not permanent unless a healthy lifestyle is maintained and maintenance treatments are performed.
